The Chemistry Society of IIT Delhi
The Department of Chemistry, established in September 1963, is one of the twenty-three Departments/Centers of IIT Delhi. The Department offers a two years M.Sc. program, M-Tech program and a Ph.D. program in Chemistry. Doctoral and post-doctoral research is carried out in all major areas of chemical and allied sciences. 'Chemocronies' is the Chemistry Society of IIT Delhi comprising of dedicated faculty and enthusiastic students as members. Chemocronies works day in and out behind each and every event that is conducted in the Department directly or indirectly. The ChemSoc has been active in organizing scientific meetings, various national and international conferences and symposia. The Department offers a vibrant atmosphere to students and faculty to nurture the spirit of scientific inquiry and to pursue cutting-edge research in a highly encouraging environment.

CHEMOCRONIES - The ChemSoc of IITD was founded in 2020 after a group of newly admitted M.Sc. students of the department along with a bunch of Dynamic, Young Professors decided to turn their shared interests into an official Chemistry Club. Since then we’ve grown as a community, and have widened our horizons in such a small period of time. When you decide to join us, you too will gain access to various events and, most importantly, to a group of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate as you are!

In 2000, CHEMOCRONIES - The ChemSoc of IITD was founded when a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests into an official Chemistry Club. After a couple of quick meetings, we were on our way to creating something extraordinary.
With time, we’ve grown into a more serious and mature organization, allowing us to take our interests to new levels. When you decide to join us, you too will gain access to various events and, more importantly, to a community of people who are just as passionate as you are.
